My Evoque is a pre-2016 model - does that change anything?

It might. Pre-2016 Evoques were fitted with the Ford Duratorq diesel rather than Land Rover's own Ingenium engine, and that unit has its own known pattern of injector seal leaks and EGR clogging. Submit your reg and we'll confirm exactly which engine your car has before quoting.
